to your first point, I think that’s more an issue of a limited lexicon. Video game is a hugely reductive term, and one I only use because we don’t really have a better alternative. Interactive entertainment isn’t really as snappy as Cinema or literature.

The switch UI is far more sluggish. there is just orders of magnitude less you can do with it. Try browsing the eshop. Damn near impossible. You have to pause every 7 games or so for the next ones to load.

The xbox UI is far more feature rich and thus better. These are facts.

In halo 5 I can map jump, boost, crouch and sprint to the 4 elite paddles. It ;ets me to sprint, boost jump then slide then boost back into a sprint, which is as fast as you can go on foot. I mapped them to a simple clockwise configuration.
