To be fair, marketing stadia is an uphill battle.

I LOATHE JJ abrams. He’s a supremely overrated director that managed to ripoff a new hope TWICE and not get called out for it in any meaningful way. He dumbed down star trek to a level it has yet to recover from and loosed a pair of hack writers...one of which was a 9/11 truther upon it.

There’s another problem: the competition can do essentially everything stadia can.

Stadia just doubled their launch lineup....and it is still half as big as the number of xcloud games in their Beta. The game streaming wars are almost like a format war. And google is hd dvd. Both microsoft and sony have a large stable…

There’s a way to test this. Ask the stadia team if they are worried about xcloud.

Also worth mentioning that this appears to be the first time that a non-indie title has had a transgender protagonist. That it got the full support of one of the big three, to the point of being made exclusive is also important.

Read your own article. The ps3 stopped losing them money in late 2010. Before then it lost them nearly 3 billion dollars. It eventually turned a profit, but it took them the better part of a generation to do so.
