Fun fact: Clamp was originally much more like his namesake, and was going to get killed in the movie. Glover’s performance was so energetic and likeable that they couldn’t bear to make him an asshole, so they moved the more trumpian traits to the security dude, and promptly dialed up the ted turner style eccentricity…
