Yeah, people who don’t want to pay nearly twice the price to have less content are the problem. Not the lazy entitled dev who thinks they can quarter ass a project and people will still buy it, nor the spineless consumer whores who are willing to take whatever raw deal they get.

Since gen 3, each pokemon generation has sold abouut 32 million games pretty much like clockwork.

Oh they have that. They just don’t want to spend it. They want pokemon to be a yearly cash infusion that keeps them afloat while they work on stuff like Town.

They were still doing low res sprite art in 2012.

If they cut Pokemon refresh but included all the other pokemon, nobody would care. It was a side gimmick most people didn’t use.

This is because of greed and laziness. Nothing more.

But that would require work and money. And game freak doens’t want to do those.

Consumers ARE entitled. Literally. we are the ones being asked to exchange our money for goods and services. We have a right to demand quality.

No society in history fell because the peasants wanted too much.

I don’t know how much of it was trickery. As long as he keeps crapping out family guy episodes long past what should have been the series’ nadir....I think fox will just let him do what he wants. He got them to air Cosmos, after all. No way he sold that as a parody.
