Are you familiar with STFUParents? You might be on there!

I want everyone to see this heartbreaking video.

I'm the only women in my department at work. I once had a boss say to me in a meeting "as long as you don't get pregnant again!" when we were discussing the timeline of a huge project and my level of involvement in said project. Just...what the hell? The guy across the table from me who had a heart attack last

I remember the attending doctor telling the resident where to correctly place my bladder when they were putting me back together. That was bizarre.

You sound like you're still riding the endorphin's high! I felt like such a BAMF after giving birth. Pushing was easier than I expected too. Congrats on the new baby and hope you get some sleep soon :)

Totally normal to be afraid. I had a baby 7 months ago and another one almost 3 years ago. The first was a c-section and the second was a vaginal birth. The best advice I can give is to try and remember that your body is designed to give birth. Your vag was made to expand to make room for the baby and it will shrink

Right now on a local Detroit area morning radio station, the host's are discussing how this will impact Justin Verlander's game. He is Kate Upton's boyfriend and a baseball player. They are literally more worried about how well he will play baseball because naked photos of his girlfriend got leaked. Only once did

"Hey, assholes come in all stripes! Most people just want to be safe and happy!" I'm totally using this line next time a relative (or anyone for that matter) says something stupid and racist.

I use this technique and it almost always works the way you describe. The back peddling, stuttering, explaining... It's important to use the flat, serious tone of voice too.

I agree, and she probably doesn't have any clue how it's coming across either. My best friend talked about her dog to me when I had my baby and talked about baby stuff. As in, she'd ask about the baby and I'd tell her some boring baby stuff and then I'd say "how's the pup?" That period of time between me having a

That's been my mom's reality for many many years now. My brother better step up when the time comes. Same goes for my husband and his younger brothers.

Thanks for explaining Community supplies. Sounds like it would also encourage the kids to share and be more responsible for the class supply. I still don't understand why teachers have to spend so much of their own money on school supplies. I mean, I get it, but it ticks me off.

This entire thread is interesting to me. Community supplies? I've never heard of that. My kids will start grade school in a few years and the one thing I get from this is that we should just give the schools enough money to buy supplies to last the entire school year. But that's crazy talk, you teacher's make too

We have a supervisor here who comes in an hour early, takes a 3 hour lunch every day, and leaves on time or early 4 out of 5 days a week. Plus he got a cable TV hooked up in his office and watches baseball on it every day. So he's making double what I make to sit around watching TV and not get his work done on

Same here on all accounts except I'm only 6 months in on baby #2. More options are a good thing.

I agree, lazy management is a big problem too.

We used to have a guy like that too, minus the hygiene...he finally got fired after years of this crap. I support unions but I hate that they shelter the lazy bums and bad seeds.

That's exactly how it was for me too. I've never talked about it because I never heard of someone else experiencing that. When I completely relaxed during a contraction, the pain disappeared.

One of the worst parts of mine was being numb from the chest down. That sensation freaked me out more than anything.

This week has been something
