Wordle is just Lingo, though? Like, the guy made it accessible for many (and the one word a day for everyone thing is obviously a big part of its viral appeal) but he didn’t invent the game (not that Lingo did either, its just been around).

Great for anybody who wants it, but hearing this makes me completely uninterested in the game. It’s hard enough to make a compelling 10 hour game, and I’m just not hopeful for any developer that places any importance on a gamelength that long (even 80 is a red flag, they can’t all be Persona and even Persona... coulda…

But just to be clear, are any of the original makers of JSR involved? Because I definitely wouldn’t call it “ a Jet Set Radio sequel in all but name alone” if not.

It Takes Two is one of the worst written stories I’ve ever experienced in a game, it’s like an alien who observed human TV for ten minutes wrote it then a three year old adapted their work and then someone took a pass to make sure every line of dialogue was as clumsy as it could be
