The cartoon look and animation share colors and some design similarities but RL1 and RL2 look drastically different, whether people like ‘em they are definitely not “practically the same.”

Objectively reporting facts is journalism. If you think it comes across as a smear, then the issue is the one being reported on.
On the other hand, fuck racists, fuck defending racists, and it’s perfectly normal (in fact, I’d say a very healthy approach to life) to not want to give raging racist assholes money.
Based on the stills, is there ever a frame where somebody isn’t side-smiling?
It’s not racist to want borders... and that’s fine, because all countries have ‘em! What is racist, on the other hand, is patrolling a border with no authority but an imagined one bestowed by God and hunting brown people like animals. Which is what the skin glorifies. And, I guess, what you’re defending apparently?
It’s not “letting them have it,” it’s that, just like every single symbol and word in human history, it has meanings and implications, and there is now an offensive and oppressive use of it. This is how all offensive words have taken shape, and it’s just as much an act of expression to choose which words to not use.…
They keep piling on the ammunition, but honestly the quickest way to show there’s something wrong in the brain of a Trump supporter is to point out they support Donald Trump.
Nah there’s plenty of good stuff on there, it's just the stuff that really explodes tends to be shit. Lots of good channels that land in the 500-1000 regular viewers range, that take advantage of some of the cooler elements of the platform.
I know you guys hate things like books and museums, but those are the places to teach history, not celebrating a racist symbol by waving it in a video game.

I know very little about this stuff — when you say that takes a lot of resources, do you mean just in running the game on the PC itself? Or that it takes a lot from the servers on Riot’s side (which is what it sounds like), so they’re constantly having to put more work/money/resources into it?
dude, they pretty much invented the concept of mid-generation console upgrades
Hell yeah Knack is back
Nathan goin hard for a Kotaku article and I'm here for it
the only part I disagree with is "smart, well-meaning"
The breakable equipment is wild. It’s so easy to gather the mats for any tool that any “challenge” there is rendered pointless, and it’s just making you go spend a few minutes to build one just to take up time.
I can’t imagine a system that can play Breath of the Wild isn’t able to handle two scroll wheels in a game with extremely limited graphics and functions.
