I love “The Dead Authors Podcast” from Paul F. Tompkins (he himself hosts as H.G. Wells). One of my all time favorite episodes was the Flannery O’Conner episode where Lennon Parham plays her. I was laughing so hard I was crying. Perfect! I highly recommend it.

I agree. I learned, for me, the best way to handle a compliment is to say, “Thank you, that’s nice of you to say.” I say it straight forward and sincerely with out being cloying. That way I’m taking the compliment with out trying to detract from myself or accomplishments. I’m not being humble or a braggert. It works…

The makeup was very heavy in certain lights and looked caked on. But in other lighting it just looked flawless. It felt light on my face, but it was quite a lot, and washing it off was a chore. So both impressions are correct!
