I’ve used q-tips (ooh, feels so gooood!) and ended up in the ENT chair, where she brightly says “ you’ve been using q-tips! I can tell, your canals are irritated.” I don’t know if I’m more sensitive, but q-tips abrade my ear canals, leaving them open for fungus and infections. For her, q-tips are Very Bad.
