Yeah, it's hard to make progress unless you profit a bit to keep the business running, but yeah, what Tesla and SpaceX are doing is amazing and to me it shows that progress is what's most important. And they really have the potential to, if not change the world with space travel and revolutionize the car industry, at

Elon Musk is the best thing that have happened in recent history.
He doesn't seem to be in it so much for the money, but rather for the advances in technology and changes in the world he can achieve.

I like that guy. Sure he's making a lot of money too, but I highly doubt that profit is his main motivation and his

It's such a shame that the save function isn't working yet. :/
I assume it will be fixed quite soon however.

Never. I believe I have the right to privacy. My phone is my private item. Just like I don't read anyone else's mail I don't look through someone else's phone. Not my girlfriend's nor anybody else's, and I expect the same respect back.

Unfortunately I can not tell this to my girlfriend because then she'll think I'm

What is the passport made of?
The ID page for my passport is hard plastic which means in case this happens I can just get some remover and rub the pen marks off. ID undamaged.

If there was doodles on the "Visa pages" and you explained that your four year old thought it was fun to draw there, I'm sure that would be ok,

What. The. Actual. Fuck.

Isn't it just to get some heavy machinery to flip it back up, drain any water that might have gotten in and then try again? It's not really like the boat is ruined, right?

It's in such shallow waters that it's too shallow for too much much water to leak in.
The keel under is even sticking up, and it doesn't look like

I also have very bad enamel, and it's so bad I have what the dentist call "cuppings" in a lot of my teeth, basically little U-shaped holes in all the four corners of the inner bunch of teeth due to enamel having disappeared.

I got recommended a while back a paste called "MI Paste Plus", actually here on Giz. It will

I have tried telling this my girlfriend, as she thinks 20K is about right for a wedding.
To me it's just a ridicolous amount of money. As she's ethnic Chinese there's some traditions of course and it involves shitloads of people, plus all the venues etc etc etc she wants.

When I graduate with my Master's degree in

Yes, god, I think so many of these international sporting events are getting out of hand. There's the football world cup every four years or something, there's an olympic games every two years, and all of these huge events are filled with so much new construction that will just go unused later, billions of dollar that

But it's also kind of sad considering how little has happened since then.

Would the image retention be present for the laptops manufactured now too, or have they done anything about it? I Googled and it seems like a somewhat widespread problem across a bunch of models.

And not ignore your keyboard comments, even with a flimsy keyboard I'm pretty sure it's better than the Surface Pro

That's just Humppa music, Finish folk dance music (Think dance for people aged 50+).
We have a similar genre here in Sweden, but yeah, the finnish is a bit more wierd :P

I'm now lost between this one and a ThinkPad S1 Yoga. This one offers slightly higher resolution screen, and has the same performance. It's half the weight of the ThinkPad.
But the keyboard leaves a lot to wish for. ThinkPads have amazing keyboards, and I get very frustated trying to use those bloody trackpads. I need

Crap, I'm buying a new laptop for myself. So I have been waiting to see what the Surface Pro 3 is all about, if it's not what I want I'm buying the 12.5" ThinkPad Yoga, which now is basically the same except it has a better keyboard and "only" full HD.

Now I have to choose. I'm a sucker for ThinkPads, and it's better

And they're still around today! Sure they've seen better days, but they're still there.
I was in Normandy visiting the beaches in 2007. Well worth the visit.

Sorry, maybe it was poorly worded.
It's absolutely great they've put a tent over the whole thing, to stop it from spewing radioactive material. It's a horrible disaster. From a visitors point of view it's a shame though. You'll no longer be able to see the oh so famous reactor.

Now playing

I've been there. I don't have much to say except that if you ever get the chance to go. Go!
It's one of the wierdest and most eerie places I've been, but it's well worth the visit. Went there for a two day private guided tour a few years ago.

It's a shame they've put a tent over the reactor now, but going there you

This is filmed before the fall of the Berlin wall. Sometimes it feels like something that happened a long time ago, but then you see things like this and you realize it's only about 20 years since Soviet fell. Man time passes quickly.
