While I personally wouldn't have that much Lego myself, I'm going to make sure my kids have it (when I have kids). I think building a lot of Lego is a big part of why I got into engineering.

I think I'll be enjoying building stuff more than my kids.

Reading about these stuff is so much more interesting when you're familiar with the processes and mechanics behind it. One benefit of studying civil engineering is that you get so much insight and understanding into so many aspects of society.
Downside is you get too analytical of everything around you.

Well, now when you have compressed the soil below one of the buildings, that might lead to problems underneath the other one because they are so close. I guess it depends on how much the other building have sunk in. I wouldn't want to live in the other building unless I had an engineer's word that nothing would

They probably checked the soil. I'm pretty sure they checked the soil, but there are more factors than just than just the load directly on top that will cause subsidence that they might have missed out on.

-Did they manage to do anything to change the ground water level?
-Did they put a very heavy load on the

The ice isn't flavoured. Usually you flavour it by pouring flavoured syrup on it, like in the bright red title image.

In all the other images, it's red bean/kidney beans in the bowl, and the ice isn't flavoured. You can mix it though if you want.

This would be very cool. I have no idea how the railway connections are from Alaska through Canada and to the rest of the US, nor within the US, but it would be cool knowing I could take the train from where I am now (Northern Sweden) all the way to New York, sure it's a hell of a ride and it would probably take two

Just be prepared for it to take very long time to model and animate. :)
But it's very amazing once you get it working. I took a course in Senior High using 3DSMax. The most advance thing I made was a 12 second clip of a submarine firing a missile, and it was a bit of work. But if you have the time and interest, go for

Why use .gif when you can be like Spider Man and WebM?

..
I'll see myself out.

But they all have a unique registration number, so in these situations it's just to know which number is yours!

This game would look so much better if their textures wasn't so bad. I'm sure the game is fun , and it looks good, but I really don't get why developers choose to put such shitty, low res, blurred textures. Yes, they can save memory and processing power, but it looks so bad. :/

Flying upside down is a quite common trick for RC Helicopters.
A few years ago I used to do RC Planes, and a guy in the club was among the world elite regarding RC Helicopters, competing all over the world. The things he did with his helicopter.. Flying it upside down for a while is nothing special, however in those

Like this?

Nope, I kept it wrapped up like in the picture and then it's easy to just cool the cable and not get water in the plugs at the end.

Just tried it, works wonders! Couldn't be bothered waiting for it to cool down (it's important!) so I just ran the curled parts under cold water for a minute. Did the trick!

In every game I've ever played there are always two graphical details that spoils it for me.

1) Texture resolution/Sharpness.
Everything looks nice when in motion, but the second you stop it becomes a whole different story. Take any FPS, ArmA 3 for example. Good lighting, models are nice, weapons look good, but the

Depends. If they paid me 6-12 months of salary for quitting, and I know I could find something else within 4-5 months. Yeah, I'd do it. Of course this depends on what field you're in and if you can expect the same salary at the next place.

Some companies will pay their employees 1-2 years worth of salary to retire

Yeah, I see that too and I know that there's a million different types of concrete and mixtures and whatnot. Civil engineering is what I'll be doing for a living once I graduate.
But what I'm thinking is that if this can be applied to for buildings too, and what benefits or problems that might bring?

I live and study

So, I'm wondering a few things immediately.

I'm assuming this is not meant for buildings at all?
Because in buildings the water absorption and transport through concrete is important for regulating humidity in the wall as to not get water damages. Concrete needs to be able to breathe, kind of.

I guess this is mainly

I have a feeling that if the door was locked, they'd just climbed over the top.
Sure you can put barbed wire at the top, but I don't think they'd care to much about that either.

Though you are right in everything you say regarding diamonds, there's just one small problem.
