I've gone through a few names since I started using the internet, (UltraSquirr3l => The Ultra => Make.Sense) from very silly names when I was a yound kid and wanted to be cool, then I did a more neutral version of my kid nickname, and then I wanted an even more neutral toned down name. So that's what I have now.

Tips for saving money on groceries? I'm a student and I'm also maintaining a (very) long distance relationship. So I have to keep a budget.
My current strategy for saving money is on food by simply buying less and getting the cheapest brands available. (often the store's own brand), and giving myself weekly allowance.

If you have everything you need but just lack the equipment there might be some filming clubs willing to lend out a camera. 2 years ago I did a travel documentary about Chernobyl (Footprints of Disaster, is on YouTube) with a few friends. We did not have a proper camera for that, but a hobby filming club in town let

Although me coming from cold Sweden I totally adore the weather, and despite the heat I sweat very little.

When I lived in Singapore it was Subway (MRT) and bus. Here in Sweden I always use bike because I think public transport is too expensive (especially compared to Singapore), and cannot afford a car. When I move back to Singapore again next summer I'll definitely get myself a bike just to skip the overcrowded trains

The computers I used as a kid always ran nVidia, so when it was time for me to build my own I felt a lot more comfortable using nVidia. So I've always used nVidia, always will use. I feel very very uncomfortable with AMD and Catalyst Control Center.

Seriously, some of these look quite nice actually. I am in college now, have 28m2.
I think it's too big. I can fit too much stuff in. Assuming there is a common kitchen I would be happy with this much space. Having spent some months abroad with only what I could fit in a cabin bag and a
hiking backpack I realized I

Naps are great. Thing is I usually take mine during class (I'm in Uni)
Still doing fine though. It really helps for the rest of the day.

I ran into this when I lived in Singapore too.
Seemed fun though, but never tried it out.

I am so glad we have an authority here in Sweden giving out student loans. Not a bank, but an authority that is not allowed to make a profit. So my loan have very very low interest. Now I am still studying, but when I'm done I am pretty sure I won't pay more than the minimum requirement each month (around 140 USD)

One year ago I moved around 1000 km from home for college in Sweden, in early June I moved to Singapore to be with my long-distance girlfriend for the three months of summer I'm not studying (moving here almost-permanently next year).

What I have learnt in both these moves is that I don't need nearly as much stuff as

A lot of comments here talk about Cease and Desist letters, then I have a question.
Wouldn't it work if they just removed Halo from the name, stopped using Halo names for stuff and did some alterations to the models?

Then also, when they get a cease and desist letter it has to be addressed to one person right, like the

When I got into a cross-continental long distance relationship 7 months ago I changed my spending habits, went from no budget to a very strict budget over night so that I can afford to spend a ~$1000 on plane tickets every second month when I can take 2-3 weeks off my university studies.

Apart from being very

On Friday I have been in a long distance relationship for 7 months, and I thought I might share a few things about it. I am Swedish, I study in Sweden. My girlfriend is Singaporean, and at Christmas, after her exchange year we said "Screw the distance, we'll make it".

So that's kind of the situation. We see eachother

At least I know missing my home country will not be the problem.
Although my girlfriend wants to move to Europe because of the climate and work life (Focus on working is much higher here than in Europe), and I want to move to her because I can't stand winters and Sweden in general for other reasons.

It's been 6 months

There's only one aspect about it that sucks if you meet online or so.
Distance. Last year I met a Singaporean exchange student at my university in Sweden and we hit it off. Since christmas we've had a long distance relationship. If you met online it's easy till the first meeting, then it gets hard being apart from that

So basically we got Test Drive Unlimited meets Need for Speed, but made by Ubisoft?
Loved Test Drive Unlimited, 2 was great too, not as much as when the first came but still great. At least I'll keep an eye on this.

I can't be the only one who every time I see that dog picture gets annoyed over how low-res the dog textures are? Right?

One thing I have a hard time understanding, is it really that hard to do high resolution textures? A lot of games look very good, but the second you get up close to something, or just stop for a

Now everyone will know about the new console at E3, then they can use the time there to tell everyone about their "amazing new features and amazing exclusive launch titles" and whatnot.

I haven't seen the show.
I wouldn't consider the music that epic, but I get why some people do call it that.
So yes, it could sound epic to people who didn't watch the show.
