I don't know how it works in the US, but in Sweden you get your Bachelor degree after 3 years, and then you have to do an additional two years for to get a master degree, giving a total of 5 years for your master.

It depends on. The trains and busses are always full on the mornings but still a lot of people, like I know my parents do for example, stubbornly drive as they always have done.
