That’s the the plan!
That’s the the plan!
Go ahead and do it anyway! I learned about it this morning too and started my own contribution.
Hell, my wife simply hyphenated her last name when she married me and THAT causes troubles from time to time.
Another personal example, my middle name (a family name passed down in my family for several generations) looks almost like a more standard name, just missing a letter in the middle of it. I will often get…
No gunpla for that one saddly.
I remember I had somehow got enough money to preorder a PS2, but I guess I was late to the game and was told that they were not going to be able to fulfill it right away. Something about the entire thing rubbed me the wrong way so I actually canceled my preorder and after bouncing around what I wanted to get instead…
I don’t remember signing a permission slip for that feels trip....
You’re quite welcome! I’m glad I was able to help.
With the way Bandai makes gundam kits you don’t really need to paint most of them unless you want to. Some have better color accuracy than others (often relying on foil stickers to complete the look)
Lets see.. then the main things you’ll need to know are the grades.
High Grade (HG)- This is the most common and are…
How experienced are you with model kit building and/or gundam kits?
I can provide some recommendations on Gundam models if you like!
I haven’t played the games my self, but I’ve seen a lot of the stuff from the sidelines. I think some characters show up repeatedly, but several of the games take place in other countries such as France or the USA. Those have new characters, though I think sometimes they carry someone over as a bridge of sorts.
Heck, hasn’t YouTube basically made it impossible to upload MK content (kontent?) with out it going to some sort of secret blacklist that keeps it out of the algorithm and harder to search for?
Except Soundwave wasn’t a boombox. He was a microcassette recorder....
Blaster, his Autobo counterpart was a boombox.

Not gonna lie...I was getting those two mixed up in my head as well. I do remember the detail about the motorcycle sounds though. I was waiting for the article to mention something about it, and was slightly confused when it didn’t come up.
It’s all good man. I’m glad we were able to handle it with civility.
Anyway, I’ve always had a passing interest in 40K. Several of my friends played back when I was in high school and they would often show me their builds, or picture from various books and catalogs. The Eldar in particular seemed pretty neat to me…
Sorry I wasn’t picking up on your terminology. I probably was coming off like a real jerk (or just a big idiot). But I now know what you’re talking about, and yeah those can be a real pain. I tend to use a knife to clean up the marks on my kits, but I know that a combo of knife and several steps of sand paper are the…
The nub marks? Ok that makes more sense then.
Again, most Bandai models don’t have that. Now there are seam lines from when two pieces meet up. Most of the modern kits try to hide those best they can, but seam line removal is sometimes needed if you want a real clean look.
If you’re talking about the points where things “snap” together, you don’t tend to do that with these kind of kits. I’ve built several gundam kits (even have a YouTube channel for it) and the only time I’ve had to sand those was after I painted them. And that was only because I was doing a custom paint job on them.
