Thanks! I may use that as some background noise when I go back to work on Monday.

You may find this neat. I just made this shirt design.
I knew that the Build Fighters dub was from over there, but didn’t even know Age had a dub.
I almost posted that, but didn’t want to start a “Dub vs Sub” debate. But I will say this, the Dub isn’t too bad. It’s not spectacular, but it gets the job done. It’s also easier to build Gunpla while watching if you don’t have to read subs.
Fair enough. I just really love that series and can’t resist a chance to extol it’s virtues. I too have see all of the series/spin offs and want more!
Sadly, he’s not quite there yet for kits. He’s only 5, but he’s starting to get Lego sets down so in the next couple years he might be ready for SD kits. Provided he’s interested.
Not really “Toy Story” but it does focus on Gunpla and it moving around.
As a dad, I like the one with the “child” Gundam.
That’s, actually kinda cool. It reminds me of how in the world of Transformers, a recent toy for the character Perceptor was created and included his “tank mode” that only existed in the original toy.
I just listened to a podcast where they said the MKII Real Grade was one of the best Gundam kits they had put together.
Yeah. The big difference is the way the Wing Binders (I think that’s what they are called) are mounted to the suit. I didn’t realize they had an official name for it though.
Believe it or not, Amazon isn’t half bad at finding Gunpla (GUNdam PLAstic kits). I would recommend starting small with some HG or even SD kits. If you want some specific recommendations, look around YouTube for reviews. Those can help give you a good starting point.
I have an old HG Zeta and Double Zeta using that style of System Injection. It’s crazy to look at. Currently the definition of System Injection just refers to how some runners (usually runner “A” in a set) will have two or more colors on it. But they don’t “mix” them like that anymore.
Didn’t Dr. Grant say something along these lines in Jurassic Park III during an interview at the beginning of the film? I think he said something about them not being “real” dinosaurs but some sort of mutant creature created by Hammond.
Actually, this was ages before Breaking Bad. I’m not even sure Malcom in the Middle was out yet when I had that teacher....

Reminds me of how one of my science teachers in high school said he had become a drug dealer. He worked for a pharmaceutical company, selling meds to retail outlets.
Me: “Oh cool someone built a perfect replica of the Jumanji board, check it ou-”
I know right?
Here’s the video of the version I’d probably end up doing.
