You can ignore pvp if you want it has no real importance to the lore. The PVEVP game mode known as Gambit has a bit of lore around it, but it still has pvp. Just reversed the video and found the random backwards sounding audio at the end of the video is Sigma saying “Release me!”
A few other random spots also have him saying stuff like, “hold it together” also reversed.
