Was it a thrilling episode? Yes. Was it wise storytelling to kill off THE series-long fantastical archenemy in a single episode, and only the third of the season? Weiss and Benioff are master storytellers, but oh, I am not so sure about this one. Fights among humans are all puny after this.

Ok, so the episode was good, but I think I’m officially on the “GoT’s turned into a TV show (in the sense of TV pacing/expectations as opposed to the WTF Red Wedding style book shocks)” bandwagon now.

Damnit.

Not trying to be edgy or controversial, but I was pretty underwhelmed.

I’m feeling pretty conflicted. Am I happy my girl was the one to do it? OF COURSE. but i definitely didn’t think it would happen in this episode, and I’m feeling a little iffy about spending the last half of the season dealing with Cersei sans White Walkers. Personally I found the Night King plot to be a lot more

I think I was actively crying for the last 45 minutes, trying to catch my breath, and pacing in front of my TV.

that episode was fucking stressful

I have rolled in to the office while wearing my pjs with a coat over them to drop off forgotten items or sign in a kiddo who just missed the bell more times than I can count. Showing up is showing up, we can’t all be ready and having our best day every time an emergency arises.

When do we reach peak streaming? How many services can the average viewer reasonably adopt?

Treating an ectopic pregnancy is not an abortion.  Calling it as such is incorrect and dangerous.

Even if she is being ‘held against her will’ it would probably be because she needs that level of intervention in the short term. There’s a very high bar for sectioning people in my area/experience. Sadly people in the middle of a mental health crisis are not always great at judging what is best for them.

She’ll be old when the coffee nips start showing up.

Brienne was in the shot when Daenerys was first meeting the Stark family, so only kinda MIA since she had no lines and just stood there.

He’s getting there. Gotta start with Sam’s dead family, onto Ned and having to run through LITERALLY everything he’s ever been told about Lyanna by him and stories of Rhaegar.

He has to re-contextualize his whole life.

It is excellent. Get thee to your local library and rent it. You won’t regret it.

When Harry Met Sally was on the other night and it’s so good and they don’t make movies like that anymore, right? Like they really don’t make smart movies where people just say funny, clever things and the writing is so sharp, right?

I hope your boyfriend included Alt Shift X in his youtube watching. By far my favorite GoT channel

clogged milk ducts brought me the third worst overall discomfort I’ve experienced in my life (after giving birth, and a compound fracture)*, so I would argue that any woman who is planning to procreate and then breastfeed should hold out for a partner who would be willing to help out in ways up to and including

And in the same vein, these babies (and their close-toed bootie-style counterpart that I thought were the height of cool ca. 1999, but can’t seem to find a pic of):

Yes, until I roll my ankle in them.
