These parent’s attitudes are what leads young women to think they don’t matter or that they deserve to be verbally or physically/sexually abused because they are not taught to fight back when things seem uncomfortable to them.

Hell yes she does. if you want to get pissed off, check out the mom comments on the insta. A LOT of parents claiming she has no right and is “copping an attitude”, and that kids don’t get a say ever which is super gross and concerning. Teach kids how to set boundaries, not roll over to authority. ugh. 

Apple Martin has every right to tell her mom to take a fucking seat and stop posting pictures of her on social media. She’s 14 years old.

My question is why wasn’t she and her sister asking why they were suddenly taking pictures in front of specific boats so her parents could lie and say they were on the rowing team in HS?

She wanted to go to Arizona State because party school, but said long before this scandal she didn’t want to go to school at all. There’s video of this. I really do think I would have less sympathy if she hadn’t expressed before this all came out that she didn’t want to go to college in the first place. Well, she kind of had to. Otherwise it would have been the little girl and Giannis from the waist down, which would be some strange cropping. Would have been funny to watch her try and back up out of the room to get it in landscape though.

From the reports on many of her videos, her parents were right. She was a bum student that needed the help only money and privilege can acquire to get her into anything north of a for profit trade school. For her next act, she should team up with Chet Haze and Bhad Bhabie to do a mixed tape and announce a college tour.
