I live in Seattle, so a few days ago I sat down on the floor with my 4 month old and we talked about the pros and cons of each candidate and initiative, then filled out my ballot and mailed it in.

I actually voted absentee because I knew I would be out of state, taking care of my dying father. September was a month of a lot of crying for me - for my dad and for this final crack in the glass ceiling. Tonight I’ll toast my father and our next President and be sobbing again, I’m sure.

I feel like George RR Martin refusing to ever finish the series would be an appropriate punishment for us all if America elects Trump. I mean, beyond the punishment of having Trump as a president. If he were somehow to release the books everywhere but the US...heh, yeah, that would show us.

He is 3 years into a 10 year term. He could be forced out. I see President Clinton using him as a tool and a punching bag anytime there is any investigation. She is going to make his life hell for 4 years, or until he commits suicide by shooting himself in the back 16 times.
