I don't get it? You get the medal after playing your first match I believe. Unless your xbox died right before the beta began, then yeah that does suck. :x

In terms of lag: I adjusted to Gears 1, but Gears 2 matchmaking was a big flop, including horde. ): However the Gears 3 beta "felt" really good overall, so my fingers are crossed for a promising online come release. Multiplayer is what I play most in the Gears universe :D
