I had the 3G, and got iPhone 4 in late January of this year. I can survive another 2 years with the iPhone 4 because it was a much needed upgrade. The 3G was just slow as heck, especially if it was jailbroken. I'll wait out the 2 years and whatever time is left til summer for the next inevitable upgrade to the iPhone…
