What new tech? This is basic automobile manufacturing.

I’d recommend reading through some of Hyundai’s TSBs. They highlight some extremely fundamental manufacturing flaws that don't align with Hyundai's supposed newfound reliability record.

I’d argue there’s a bigger “middle market” of pseudo-sims like GT and FM than there is for more demanding sims, like ACC or iRacing. The further you slice that pie, the more you cut people out. Look how big Forza Horizon is, which is obviously more accessible than any of those games previously mentioned.

I’ve been out of gaming for quite a while, but did they ever start using real engine noises for each car? That was always lacking on the older versions I played. 

counterpoint: the regulations aren’t being drawn up with stuff like a hellcat in mind at all. they’re being drawn up to cover the 99.99% of cars that aren’t hellcats and the modern muscle cars are just going to be collateral damage. look around in a parking lot. there are an awful lot of V8 powered trucks.

The Electrical Grid is more of a barrier to EVs than the batteries in many respects. Working on Infrastructure is a nightmare.

The Hayabusais the Harley of the sport bike world. Its oversized, bad handling, and ridden by people who think theyre WAY cooler than they are. The HRV is based on the Fit. It manages to be slower, more expensive, uglier, thousands more expensive, AND 15-20% worse on gas. What a great deal!

Gas will get expensive again if we ever have politicians that look to make driving a secondary mode of transport, not the norm.

To each their own, but I wholeheartedly disagree with leaving a kid in the car. Especially a 4 year old that’s old enough to hop out and join you. It takes less than a minute for someone to steal a car. Even if you can “see your car and kid,” by the time you react, its too late.

Most people who steal cars know how to drive stick. It’s not like it’s hard.

I applaud their enthusiasm but I haven’t read anything about transportation being the bottleneck for the vaccination effort. At this point getting the right people at the right time to the vaccine is the real problem.
