I’d settle for a Type E. As in Export that car to the US.

Yeah this is a pretty shitty take. And yet it happens every single time a company tries to make strides in the right direction. Chipotle starts adding organic beans "yeah but they aren't ALL organic and they still sell beef". It's moving the goalposts and its lame.

No corporation in the world can make any step towards improvement without being criticized by the hypocrites here at Earther.

I missed the part where it’s going to be an active lifestyle crossover with an available EV version.

to me this looks somewhat like this:

I feel like this is just to get media coverage. No one is THAT stupid but a story like this will obviously make headlines.

It is genuinely shocking to me how many media outlets I’ve seen covering the “drug syringe” thing like it was a real motivator for the change and not just a clever tweet from Cooler Master’s social media manager after a functional upgrade to a decades-old product format. Thank you for correctly identifying it as such,

I don’t think it’s trolling, as nobody was hurt in the process.

China is the perfect labor market for bringing in new design and engineering talent to Tesla. They can overwork and underpay them all they want...you know...the two reasons why US Tesla technical staffing has such high turnover.

Why the Honda I-4? Because of the car it was in?

Alternative viewpoint: It’s the same ugly as the Cherokee, Rogue, and Escape, uglier than the CRV and Sorento, and much, much uglier than the RAV4, Sante Fe, and CX-5.

It’s not any uglier than the CRV, RAV4, Santa Fe, Cherokee, or any other anonymous midsize CUV

I agree with pretty much everything in this article, except, “and many other colors.”

Automakers, it’s time to let this pointy rear window thing go. Either make it a full-size, rhomboid window or fill it in. It ruins the proportions of the vehicle. And no, I don’t want to hear your excuses about crash tests. Figure it out. It looked awful 10 years ago and it looks awful today.

The entire premise of your headline is inaccurate. I believe you misread the article you linked regarding Lexus Remote Touch.

They ain’t shook, they are capitalizing on it.

As long as someone isn’t trying to pull into the spot on the other side it is totally fine.

I drove this thing too and my assessment was the same as Kristen’s. It’s not insanely fast but it’s plenty quick. Quick enough. I think we’ve become jaded by ridiculous horsepower numbers to the point where we can’t appreciate something that is balanced and perfectly-suited for its job, like this V8 is.

I’ma have to disagree with a bit, Torch.
