Outside of professionals who undertake specialized heists, thieves are quite stupid. Even ignoring risk, the profit margins are minuscule. Stolen goods get pennies on the dollar and it’s not like these guys can do this sort of thing on a daily basis.

I still think this is one of the best looking Infinitis ever made. It’s a clear evolution of 80s Japanese styling. Almost everything from Infiniti since has been an over-styled blob with the exception of the new Q60 which looks quite nice.

I’ve had the manual Corolla Hatchback for 6 months and I have been quite happy with it. It replaced a 12-year-old Audi A3 which I very much enjoyed. In terms of driving pleasure, however, I’d say they’re about equal. Beyond that, while there are positives and negatives, the Corolla is fun regardless.

There is far, far too much content vying for the attention of consumers, nevermind of the cost of having access to all this content. I get the impression from friends that they maintain some of these subscriptions just in case something appealing comes up. Some of the stuff they do watch, almost feels like an

I’ve worked with guys like these over the years, some of them are legitimate entrepreneurs and some of them are poseurs. Regardless, the prevailing mindset is that it’s better to ask for forgiveness than to ask for permission. Except that most of these guys don’t engage in any introspection whatsoever so there’s

First of all, the average price of a car is irrelevant because there are plenty of cars in the $20k range. Many of those cars are legitimately great. Unfortunately, for superficial, materialistic Americans, the car defines the individual.

The problem with America culture is that consumers believe that their purchase decisions define whether or not they’re boring. The new Blazer is a pathetic attempt to capitalize on that mindset by leveraging some styling tweaks and a whole pile of marketing.

Sounds like management is no longer confident in their grand new plan. Someone must have realized that the Japanese and Koreans were going to mop the floor with them. Now they’re trying to paper over their bumbling by claiming bullshit about being nimble.

I read Thrawn last year and while it wasn’t particularly good I found it interesting that the Empire was cast in such a positive light. Thrawn was basically presented as good, apparently siding with the Empire because he felt it was the best possible option. Most supporting characters were also good and the true

There were times during this game where the number of errant passes made me feel like I was watching an MLS game. In the end, while I was rooting for Tottenham, I feel like the weaker team made it through.

Given that economists are forecasting a global economic downturn in 2020, I don’t understand why “experts” are expecting a rebound in auto sales in China.

Remember that awesome compact sports car everyone was excited about? Well, here’s a tired, outdated sports car in the same livery, just to rub it in your face and rekindle your bitterness.

The upmarket Jeep Renegade aesthetic with its pretend offroader accoutrement is quite insufferable. At least it’s got an interior to match; even with that giant display, Mercedes has somehow managed to make it look busier than an old school interior with a ton of buttons. Trying too hard might be a good way to

I wouldn’t call it jawdropping, but I’m certainly looking forward to this movie. Even if it’s full of plotholes and contrivances it will definitely be a highly entertaining spectacle.

Given how many Model 3s I see on the road, I don’t think the people buying them are all that concerned.

The price of phones has gotten crazy. It explains why I don’t see people replacing their phones on a yearly basis anymore. Hell, even bi-yearly is too frequent and none of the gimmicks justify the price.

My kids never ate in my cars and so I’ve never had this problem. But then we’ve always discouraged them throwing their food around. I don’t understand why so many parents lack such basic fucking parenting skills. This stuff really isn’t that difficult.

There’s plenty that the wealthy do worth getting upset about. First access to some shitty blockbuster movies ranks pretty low on that list.

I’m not looking forward to all the Patagonia* clad man-children driving Jeep pickups encrusted with off-road gear they never use.

These 2-stroke dirt bike motors are the worst sounding internal combustion engines ever made.
