This car’s lack of a jaw really bothers me.

You’re right, but it doesn’t mean they’re all manufactured under identical conditions. Foxconn has many factories and they’re not going to be assembling iPhones side-by-side with Playstation 4s.
I expect that the conductor of that train got a ton of shit for being early. Japanese management are demanding on a level that Americans can’t really fathom. And you see those expectations at all levels of employment, which is why you can walk into any convenience store there and the place is pristine.
The price tag is pretty much on par with the Macbook Pro but you get marginally better hardware across the board. Even the prices on the 13" models are fairly close. That said, I’d argue that the hardware differences are insignificant, with the exception of the detachable touchscreen of course. So the decision here…
Perhaps these animoji work better with the iPhone X’s camera, but I suspect they’d work quite well with a 5-year-old iphone.
You say that now, but I predict it will be a repeat of the 2016 Euros with a bunch of slow, defensively-minded games. In the elimination round weaker teams will all park the bus hoping to survive to penalties.
My Audi gives me the low fuel warning at 45 miles and will go down gradually to 0 at which point I have roughly 1.5 gallons left.
EA has faced high profile criticism for decades. It hasn’t hurt them at all. Why? Because people continue buying their games despite knowing what they’re getting in to.
Jesus... I fully expect a mail truck to be utilitarian, but is this really the best design AM General could come up with? Those huge bumpers are just asking to be bumped into stuff accidentally.
This is a great collection of videos. But, it bothers the hell out of me that the wipers on the Polish Fiat don’t spin all the way around. And why is the Mercedes dumping wiper fluid all over the bumpers?
I disagree. I’d argue the opposite because the tech press, and Apple users along with them, are quite forgiving. Over the years, whenever an issue arises, it’s always presented from the perspective that Apple is aware and working on a fix. The focus is on the solution, not the problem.
But then how will you broadcast to the world that you’re the proud owner of an iPhone X?
I recall reading that the first 2-car accident in New York occurred back when there were only 3 cars in the entire state. So crap like this is pretty much inevitable.
The reality is that there are people who enjoy riding motorcycles and people who enjoy being seen riding them.
Lexus became more associated with Mom’s runabout crossover and less with sport compacts
I disagree... It was absolutely intentional. This is the thing that differentiates the iPhone X from every other phone on the market.
I love the American attitude towards financing. It always comes down to how much can you “afford” per month. $50/month is a lot of money, even if you’re not factoring in the total cost like you should.
The swipe from off screen is annoying when you’re browsing the web or playing a game and accidentally trigger system functionality. I can’t imagine how annoying it’s going to be with the iPhone X where you can close apps by doing the same.
It just annoys me that in this day and age an automaker is still allowed to have a brake light double as a turn signal.
Gasoline will eventually go back over $5 a gallon, one way or another. If I had any confidence that our government would use the money properly, I’d want gasoline to be taxed as heavily as it is in many other countries.
