Ehh... It’s entertaining, but I wouldn’t call it fantastic. There have been a handful of truly great episodes, but by and large the past few seasons have been weak. It’s unfortunate, because a great cast is being squandered by poor writing.

I thought the episode was crap, to be honest. I’m getting really tired of heavily Doctor Who relies on plot reversals. It’s especially frustrating because often the misdirection is far more compelling.

Fantastic racing, but those commentators talk way, way, way too much. I prefer my racing commentary to be a bit more organic, with enough pauses to let me hear the cars. These guys sound like they’re in an infomercial.

I don’t think the 8-bit Guy’s technique for redoing those labels was a particularly good one. Laser prints leave a lot to be desired and the tape he used holds up poorly. It’s not like sticker sheets are hard to come by.

I hate to tell you, but the reviews I’ve seen for that keyboard are rather negative. The keys are cramped and awkwardly placed. Typewriters, on which this thing is supposedly inspired, don’t shift the rows by 50% like this does. Also, the number row is offset to the right.

The problem with the Germans is that they’ll have a handful of good years then decide to redesign some major component that was working just fine and introduce a whole load of new problems.

I had a 2013 Elantra for a few days. It felt like Hyundai was trying a bit too hard to keep the interior from feeling cheap. The driving experience was unpleasant; the engine was harsh and the steering was dull. It also had a distinct tendency to wander on the highway.

There were docks available that were very similar to Samsung’s. On top of that, you could also connect to displays and devices wirelessly. I was able to connect to a Roku with my phone.

Yeah, it looks like your typical made-for-TV bad choreography and fight-acting. The guys getting violently flung back almost makes it look more ridiculous than it would otherwise be.

I want to like the styling because it is suitably exotic, but it isn’t working for me. Something about the car just doesn’t feel right. And those big headlight cavities aren’t helping.
