There’s a pretty big difference between a car that’s been tastefully and sensibly lowered and the stupid shit some people do.

I personally think the Nissan Cube is a better looking car than any generation of the xB. Unfortunately, few outside of Japan go for quirky, unconventional designs, instead gravitating for anything they perceive as “cool”.

Although there’s a bit too much gushing in this article and the points are a bit simplistic, they’re still all valid. Amateur and indie developers stumble on so many of these and are incapable of addressing those faults because they’re too close to the game. They confuse poor gameplay for challenge and subpar artwork

I’ve never really cared as long as I got a consistent 30fps. However, I suffer motion sickness very easily in first person games, although I never had a problem with driving games. The framerate makes a big difference for me; I tend to feel the effects far more quickly at lower framerates, typically 20-30fps. That

I had the same exact feeling when I started seeing early 90’s Civics with collectors plates.

I think the new Maxima is quite attractive. It and the new Murano look quite good. I thought someone had finally found a way to make contemporary Japanese styling attractive; unlike Honda and Toyota have managed thus far.

In my experience, if an employer claims you’re being hired to change the way things work you can guarantee it’s bullshit. Even if they sincerely hope you’ll bring change there will be far too much interenal resistance. The only way it will realistically happen is if you’re building a team from scratch or have been

Building a car and the infrastructure that comes with it is a massively expensive undertaking. Apple can certainly afford to give it a shot, but we’ll see if investors are willing to go along for the ride.

I don’t know; to me it just looks like a generic sporty SUV with the corporate Jaguar front end. I see a dozen other SUVs in that profile; everything from the Porsche Macan to the Jeep Grand Cherokee. It’s definitely not as distinctive as any of their sedans.

If you changed the rules then you’d have people bitching that the government doesn’t care about the environment. This is one situation where the US is more stringent than Europe. With the rise of electrics and hybrids I think it’s all quickly turning into a moot point anyway.

$40,000 is not unreasonable? I must really be out of touch.

I like it when automakers get inventive, but this Prius really doesn’t look all that good. Toyota was trying way too hard and the results are goofy. I also feel sorry for the poor suckers who will back into something and instead of a harmless bumper dent they’re going to break an expensive set of taillights.

It depresses me that the IDx was aborted to make way for this hyperactive abomination. Like we really need a second Juke.

How the hell is the BRZ/FRS at number two? Spark plugs that are hard to reach should make for an immediately disqualification.

Except for the goofy LEDs and a few other small details I think the Tesla is an attractive car. This Porsche, however, blows it away. What a fabulous-looking car.

Exactly, this is badge engineering at its finest.

While I think the US should go metric switching to l/100km is stupid. It’s just a different way of saying the same exact thing. If anything, it requires more effort to interpret on a practical level.

I’ll say it again; if Seoul’s metro deserves a spot on this list, then so does Taipei’s and most of Japan’s as well. They’re at least as good, if not better.

Honestly, you can say the same thing about rail systems in Japan and Taiwan. Everyone seems to care about the network from managment, to employees to the riders themselves.

Japan did commit some terrible atrocities, but few in Asian nations outside of China care anymore. This is not to say there aren’t still people out there demanding apologizes but you could probably count those groups on one hand.
