It’s great to see that Mattel is putting some effort into the Boomco line. It’s nice to see they’ve finally started adding triggers to their blasters. But it’s also frustrating that they refuse to acknowledge one of the pervasive complaints people have had from day one, namely that the blasters simply are too small

I think these two links highlight the situation in the US versus Europe quite well:

The problem is that this rail line is not pioneering; it’s compromise and pandering at it’s finest.

How about the tired “everyone is beautiful, vaguely trendy and impeccably manicured in a post-apocolyptic world” scenario?

$40,000 is not unreasonable? I must really be out of touch.

I like it when automakers get inventive, but this Prius really doesn’t look all that good. Toyota was trying way too hard and the results are goofy. I also feel sorry for the poor suckers who will back into something and instead of a harmless bumper dent they’re going to break an expensive set of taillights.

iOS’s UX has grown long in the tooth. It’s still good, but it’s definitely not the pinnacle of good design like it once was. And with the way all these new features keep being added it’s only growing more clunky.

Maybe you should read up on what’s happening. If they were simply fleeing a war they’d be happy to stay in the first European nation in which they land. Any of those countries are a far better option than what they’ve left in the middle east.

It depresses me that the IDx was aborted to make way for this hyperactive abomination. Like we really need a second Juke.

How the hell is the BRZ/FRS at number two? Spark plugs that are hard to reach should make for an immediately disqualification.

Except for the goofy LEDs and a few other small details I think the Tesla is an attractive car. This Porsche, however, blows it away. What a fabulous-looking car.

Exactly, this is badge engineering at its finest.

While I think the US should go metric switching to l/100km is stupid. It’s just a different way of saying the same exact thing. If anything, it requires more effort to interpret on a practical level.

I’ll say it again; if Seoul’s metro deserves a spot on this list, then so does Taipei’s and most of Japan’s as well. They’re at least as good, if not better.

These guys seem quick to blame themselves for what appears to be clumsy controls. In this day and age no one should be fighting the controls. This stuff has all been widely implemented, so if these guys are having a hard time the implementation definitely has problems. Also, doesn’t Siri take context into account? The

Honestly, you can say the same thing about rail systems in Japan and Taiwan. Everyone seems to care about the network from managment, to employees to the riders themselves.

Even without the boot, I can imagine people accidentally bumping the button trying to plug in a cable.

$170! And people bitched about the Surface type cover’s price tag.

Rey’s Speeder is the best looking set on this list by far. The rest range from not bad to disappointing. But then Star Wars sets have always been hit or miss for me. I’ve generally gotten them for the parts.

Japan did commit some terrible atrocities, but few in Asian nations outside of China care anymore. This is not to say there aren’t still people out there demanding apologizes but you could probably count those groups on one hand.
