meh... sorta...

That's just my opinion.. but I was looking forward to Takei too.. watching his eyes flicking back-n-fore, focused a foot below the lens as he reads just underlined how flat his character was and he was just phoning it in. I wanted Sulu with a sword.. got Pike in a box. You can prolly see a super-cut of his bits on

I tried to love C&C Online with it's boring browser based combat... Once I got to the top 10 on my server I found progress stopped and it all got even more stale. Hope they do better with this.

The first campaign cut-scenes are great.. a lot of fun and setup the silly story and tone really well. Sadly the next 2 campaigns I found deadly boring and failed to do anything remotely interesting with the setup (it tries a few limp twists but nothing you couldn't guess).

The words 'Alien' and 'Baked' have never been so well summed up in a single photo.

Yeah they totally did :S

"Jaime Legannister sends his regards." I think you'll find...
(the Pedant Police)

I highly recommend watching Charlie Brooker's Screenwipe episode on this subject.. it's on youtube... It's brutally truthful on how the media reports violence and ignores the facts and kind of reporting that would help in favour of what is sensational and generates more viewers.

Visually reminded me as a more interesting version of what Beck's e-Pro video was trying to do.

The natural conclusion to the link between kids and video game violence.

Suspicious lack of shadows... *nods conspiratorially*

That first chapter leading up to Lisbeth was awesome.. huge hallways with things in the rafters, glass houses and creaking sounds. After Liz I felt it lost something and I really wished that Scrying had been a more visual storytelling device (and one that could be done so easily today).. then the final chapter(s) went

Undying? Darkseed?

*Rolls 12 sided die*

So much flame.. think I'll warm my hands.

Never played Neverhood and, while it's name would always escape me, it's testament to it's great character and visual aesthetics that makes it so memorable. When you have modern games where a screenshot could almost be interchangeable between any of them it really highlights the lack of progression and ambition.

Alan Wake Collectors and American Nightmare on Humble Weekly bundle for Windows.. right now.

Sadly he was trampled underfoot.

I totally agree. It's started to bug me that so many articles (here and elsewhere) are labelled Cosplay and the pics are all too professionally done. That seems to defeat the spirit of it.. the naff and the cool lost under a corporate sheen. It's less play more pro.

COOKIEeeeeeee!
