Yea, I'd agree. You can get a Sager NP8180 at about $1000 less, and do A LOT more. Although, I'm not all for pushing games on Ultra on a laptop, much more value in doing that with a desktop.

Sounds nice, I totally expected it to be an Asus, really really well made laptops. Pretty reliable and efficient too. I was planning on buying my girlfriend the Asus Zenbook UX31(Rose Gold) for her birthday this fall. I might even get one myself, although I've been eyeing a few Sagers lately.
A Superbowl commercial wouldn't cost Sony all that much. Maybe a couple millions, nothing they couldn't spend.
Nice nice, sounds like a really good laptop. I've been really really interested in buying a Sager. This might've been just the push I was waiting for before I go and get one. I've had my eye on the Sager NP8180 for a few weeks now.
Sony, do you expect this to sell well without some sort of backward compatibility? You guys should be the desperate ones, not the consumers, have you seen those Japan sales? *facepalm*
Which one do you have? And what are the specs?
I have an $600 laptop that can't do shit. Bought it in 2010. What brand is your laptop? I don't care about being able to push games on max settings on a laptop, kind of a waste imo, that's what desktops are for. But I'd like to be able to play most games on my laptop, incase I'm away from my laptop, laying in bed, or…
But it has a GT 555M, that can play mostly any game right? It won't be running a lot of games at Ultra, unless you like 12FPS slideshows. But if you don't care much about that, then it's not that big of an issue you right.
Why in the hell would they do that? very very stupid to pass up on the Superbowl, they HAVE the money.
So by the time this drops like $1300 in price, it'll be completely outdated. Although the specs don't scream super rig, the specs aren't that bad for a laptop but nowhere near the price. If I got a gaming laptop, it'd be just to play less demanding games, and perhaps when I'm away from my rig. It wouldn't be to…
Good point, did NOT think of that. Lol.
This thing is rigged, no way in hell Peyton Hillis really won it last year.
I think the ASUS laptops are just as good, I think the Zenbooks will give the MacBook a run for its money.
What kind of games would this laptop be able to play? Just curious.
How is a Macbook not a real computer, not that I care about Macs, just curious as to why you said that.
Why is that? Spec wise it's better. Although I don't think it would really be worth it, since it's like $300 more expensive.
So are you saying every PC gamer will invest in a Razor Blade? While I do think Macs are overpriced, I'd feel sorry for the fool who buys this laptop at that price.
SEN doesn't roll of the tongue quite as well as PSN. But I'm all for it, this is the future. I hate having to create a new account for every device I may or may not buy. Having to rebuy this or that, when you've already bought it in a previous account or on another device is an unneeded hassle.
Not that I like Apple, but weren't they doing unified accounts before MS or Sony? It seems to me that this is the future, and btw I'm all for another name besides PS4. It's about time Sony started to get a little creative in their branding lol. I still think it'll be called Playstation "___" . It was just one gen,…
When you consider that All-Pro 2K8 was a budget game, it wasn't all that bad, and is still a far better simulation than any of the recent Maddens.
