Buggazzi...or go the fuck home!
Dont call me stupid.......
This is awesome, is it a shirt?
Especially since they first got him a Challenger.
Really, so it was never used. I had seen photos of the showroom with the big leaper in the middle.
I wonder what the scene at the dealership was like when Don screeched back into the service drive half in the bag and asked for his check back after vanishing with the E-type for hours.
Too bad they had to use this dreary looking showroom, but I think that in 1966 Jags were still being sold in the Frank Lloyd Wright designed Jaguar showroom that later became Mercedes-Benz Manhattan no?
For some reason I expected Mr. Thorndyke to come out of the office in the Jag showroom.
I understand the devotion to manuals......but this is taking it a tad too far.......
This was the same thing that would happen on Miami Vice, they would be driving by the airport and a minute later they were on Ocean Blvd. It only bugs you if you KNOW the geography, for most people who have neve been to Hawaii, they dont even know the difference. It used to happen in the on the old Five-O too. There…
Mad Men and Breaking Bad are already on the list so I have to suggest another one of my favorites. FX's Justified. Deputy US Marshal Givens makes a black Town Car pretty bad ass, no to mention there are other cool cars like his fathers Land Cruiser, and that its an all around bad ass show.
I've said it before.
Some of the best car casting on TV, besides Walts Aztek, the camper and Jesses Tercel wagon, theres a Grand Wagoneer, a 5th avenue, Sauls Sedan de Ville, not to mention Badgers Fiero and Skinny Petes Thunderbird.
AzteK...it had a K in the name.
Old monarch mobile or new? Cause the old one looked like a 73 Impala hardtop. The Jensen belonged to Hunter, Brock OSI bud, also Dr Orpheus has a black Super Beetle.
Still not really the same cars though.
Exactly, CAFE, emissions, were like a combination kick to the face and the stomach to the automakers, not to mention they had to make these work on engines that were in some cases designed in the 50's and 60's.
This is more of a ponycar comparison. There is another Motorweek comparo with the Olds 442, Monte Carlo SS and the Grand National.
What would they have used? A Lazer? Dee Dee McCalls Daytona from Hunter?
Drachmas.
