Death holds no bar to the Ess Jay Double-yew Agenda. Bringing her back, irregardless of how wicked sweet her costume is, is a blatant grab for the Feminazi audience and more invasion of our Safe Male Spaces.

CRUSADER KINGS IS ETERNAL

The fact that a Bob Dylan song now gets referenced as being from the Watchmen soundtrack to me is the strongest indicator on this page that times are changing ;)

So, DA2 clearly isn't for everyone, but I actually enjoyed the story a great deal. I know a lot of people were turned off by the game's ending (the author alludes to this above), because by the end the characters are all so screwed that it feels like there's no way to "win." It's one of the most *political* RPGs

Yeah, fighting games are usually the only multiplayer games I get into because the characters are so vibrant. (I like a lot of DOTA and LoL characters, but I am just too colossally bad at MOBAs to have fun playing them)

I like the lineup they've got here, though it is a little strange that there are only two villains.

She's really good once you level her up past ~5 or so, and give her some armor.

Thanks for that reply, I know my post was naive in many ways as I mentioned and you make excellent points. I was asking questions more than making statements or wondering aloud really.

This is one of the best summaries of this I've seen. The way gamergaters talk about it makes it pretty clear. Hell, in this thread alone you have an example - Ed describes those who have issues with how women's bodies are portrayed in games as "outsiders" who "don't know anything about games". In his mind the only

Swimming in cash? Hahaha. We basically starved for three years while making this game. And it's our first game. We're a tiny team of about five people and we thought, dang, why make another crappy little game? Why not go insane and make as massive and good a game as we could? We're lucky to have survived.

right! and somehow without the realization that dismissing the experiences of a whole large faction of women and calling them liars is, in itself, SEXIST. i hope you're right about that death throes thing. i really do.

Thanks for the clarification. But you're avoiding the real issue we all have: When will the Depression Quest review be live?

I can't. I hate certain publishers as much as the next guy, but the developers who made those games are just regular people like us, and I've heard from many creators about how much piracy bothers them.

Is only one of the best RTS around, you kids don't know what is best.

Who wouldn't torrent a Jesus? Just imagine having your own personal one, someone to hear your prayers, someone who cares.

Yeah, maybe you're right. I don't post very often and I hope that this makes even a little bit of sense. I'm a black man in his early 20s who has lived in the center of St. Louis my entire life. This is a strange city in that for being as big as it is, the mentality often times seems like that of small stereotypically

It sucks being forced to have 2 gaming services installed, but the one people dislike (origin) is the least intrusive between the 2. It's also lightweight and appealing enough to get past its weaknesses (mediocre sales, smaller selection) and use it out of necessity.

Because it's EA. That's basically it.

Oh man these two are so awesome! Their "read" jokes were cracking me up, and then when dude straight falls out of the chair and loses his headset... so good!
