"But really, I was just asking questions, and questions that had been rigorously constructed with unbiased academic oversight: my methodology and construction alone had been critiqued and refined for over two months by academics and experienced researchers."

Sadly, but predictably, not everyone is so confident in themselves. What are you gonna do about all the quitters?

successful married with a career money in the bank with a job that offers TONS of free time with lots of real friends and time to still go to the gym can speak two languages NERDDDDDDDDD. Yep

whats the point? You will be rank 3 iron banner. I will have my second level 30 character. I have 12 differnt exotic weapons and and about half the raid gear and weapons. 2 legendary speeder bikes. What will rank 3 iron banner get you that all the raid kings like myself don't have?

I imagine that particular bounty challenge is more meant for after Iron Banner has been brought back multiple times. They shouldn't even bother having it so soon, but I could understand if they brought it out further down the road.

All PvP has been useless blues since the cryptarc update. SO POINTLESS

Agreed. I didn't really encounter these issues much in the first week, 10 days or so, but it's so rampant now. They really need to implement a feature that allows the team to vote on booting out an AFC player and they need to fix the matchmaking to fill up open slots quicker if somebody quits in-game. It's really not

I think the best argument I heard was that the game should be Rumble and all players should get diminishing returns bad on placement. This would incentivise more players to stick around.

Even worse is that some of the challenges are ridiculous. For example, one Iron Banner Bounty calls for 30 machine gun headshots. This would be simple if heavy weapon ammo wasn't exceedingly rare and even if you do find it, you automatically lose it all if you die.

I've had a lot of issues personally with people leaving a match. A bunch of times I ended up being the only person on a team, which then ends up getting filled out by other players only to end in a match loss. It's extremely frustrating.

Tons of issues with AFK/AFC'ers, since the loot system is so screwed in the crucible (and Iron Banner since it's just more of the same), people have a bad habit of just coming in, move around a little (to not get booted), get slaughtered, reap the RNG rewards -_-.
I have issues with being dropped into matches in

Amen on the pause, brother. It's an MMO. An MMO with crappy MMO features and little social interaction, sure. But it's still an MMO. Buy in or go home.

Check yourself, Patricia, it's not teabagging. It's a victory crouch.

Bungie is the company that calls it a victory crouch mind you.

Except for the most part there's no "talent" here. DDOS can be launched by any idiot given the right program and an IP address to hit. Its hardly a sophisticated hack.

They already drop kind of rarely, it's just, the double dice roll killed their allure. Having to diceroll to get a purple then diceroll again to see what rarity item would drop seemed pointless complex.

Still amazed this isn't how it was at launch. The fact the current, inherently cruel system passed every form of testing and assurance terrifies me.
