Oh, the soft handshake, it drives me crazy. Just take my hand like you would with a man, shake it like you would with a man, release it after the same time you would release a man’s hand, and voila! Instant good handshake and I don’t have to feel weird.

She can give him a handjob though, you (and a lot of people with you) seem to have completely forgotten about this option...

*pukes*

I personally like Tripadvisor a lot better. :)

Even moreso because eating slowly means you will have fulfilled your hunger with a smaller amount of food (after 20 minutes we stop being hungry), so if he was trying to lose weight that would really have helped.

The horrible thing about 50SOG being this popular is that it's way too recognizable to me, as in, this could've almost been my story had my rapist been rich and had I been the most unrealistically stupid woman ever. This shit is not romantic.

I do know what it is precisely so that I can avoid it. :p texture issues and all, they're too slimy for me to touch without throwing up.

Not really all that relevant but I started rereading Jenny Trout's recaps and I didn't get any further than chapter 9. Even in recapped form I can't read this shit without getting sick.

And if you don't like it you should err go back to school and...

You don't get it do you? In this example, it is used as an adjective. The problem is mostly with using it as a noun, and only in some situations is it annoying (in contrast to offensive and stupid) when used as an adjective, namely when the gender is not relevant to the conversation.

Wait, they AREN'T making 3 movies? Nice.

Pirate the hell out of this thing I say! :p

You'd have to start writing the books from scratch to make it less abusive. I don't think anyone wants to put that much effort into this steaming pile of shit.

Exactly this.

And if I remember correctly (SPOILERS AHEAD) from the recaps I read (someone linked to them above and I'm currently too lazy to scroll up), the whole POINT is that she didn't use the right safeword so he gets to be angry at her about it in the second book. He feels so betrayed that she safeworded wrong or something

Or Divergent.

The women were asleep. Ta-da? Or at least "almost-ta-da", because there may be some people who ask their partner beforehand to wake them up with sexual things and yadda yadda, but wouldn't any person who actually condemned rape at least think twice when watching something like that?

But if the sleeping partner didn't mind it happening, and it was properly discussed in advance and everything, he/she wouldn't accuse the other of rape.

It all depends on what is meant by "love". I read it as salt or something, but maybe I'm just too naive.
