Tried it this morning. Great concept...really crappy execution...again. I don’t understand why they couldn’t just rebuild Hangouts, which already has SMS/Web support, and add these features. At very least give us the option to make it the default SMS app, if it can send SMS to non-Allo users.

Lack of SMS support or desktop app makes it a no-go for me.

It may be prettier and smarter than Hangouts, but I still use it for IMs & SMS from my phone/tablet/PC and I don’t plan on giving up that functionality.

I think it’s likely LastPass will quickly have no more free accounts (I do pay for Premium, though) and maybe even have a second tier of pricing for more “advanced” features. They better not muck with LastPass’ security, though.

I think it should be noted that a lot of these programs exist for families that cannot otherwise afford these supplies. I hope people are not taking advantage of these organizations.
