This reminds me of the Control Corps hospital from Kabuki, a place for government operatives who have gone off the rails.

@Walking Eye!: Nice post. I understand the point you're trying to make but, as axlotl (gimme your ghola cells!) points out, I don't think your line of thinking is exclusive to Facebook, etc., etc. It's a pretty universal feeling everyone has-"I want to do something that matters" or "I want to be remembered for ____".

You forgot to mention David Mack, artist/writer extraordinaire!

is it wrong that when I saw pugs, I read it as pick up groups and felt that, upon further reflection, either reading would work?

"Excuse me ma'am, are those sandalwood grips or are you just happy to see me?"

@Idaan: I liked the origin story in the comics, it certainly felt like it fit in Mid-World.

@ziffelbat: while I can't argue with the truth in linworthnewt's statement, what makes it all better (or bearable) is that the child is your flesh and blood. So enjoy it!

@GusF: well, it is New York

@spikespeigel: You grew up. Don't worry, it happens to all of us ;)

@SpammerOvTheGods: Hell yeah! I've been to a rave on a mountain, but never in a mountain. They wouldn't even need to bother with the usual light displays, they're already there.

@Smeagol92055: FTFW! I crack up everytime I see his commercial

Where's Adventure Time?

@Grayel: The Hawks were lucky to win the series, they by no means handed the Flyers their asses.

Star Wars, hands down. But it would have to be Dark Empire comic book or the Heir of the Empire trilogy by Timothy Zahn.

Didn't we already get something like this in the Time Traveler's Wife?

I'd like to see someone do Anne Rice's series justice, finally

If only they'd been able to keep Herbert's son and Anderson away from Dune...
