For someone whose played MHW, Dauntless basically takes your hand and lets you just roflstomp through early behemoths but the difficulty spikes real hard in the last two tiers. With the last tier being insanely higher than the previous one. I think it’ll do fine that it’ll easily avoid failure in terms of population…

How far did you get? Because once you get to the Maelstrom islands, the depth starts to pick up there. The difficulty spikes and the meta changes greatly in regards to min-maxing your gear based on passives and what not. It’s not some insane level like Path of Exiles or anything but it definitely took me by surprise…

I think it’s one of those cases where some of the older Destiny 1 players (who may or may not be playing Destiny 2) is just automatically interjecting their issues from the first one into the second game without realizing the subtle differences like that.
