I guess Pirelli doesn't sell spare tires.
I guess Pirelli doesn't sell spare tires.
Haha, no not really. It's just something that crosses my mind when I consider if I would ever want to buy a certain car. I wouldn't ever make the decision based on it, but it goes through my mind. It's weird, I know.
Whenever I look at cars like this, I think "Awesome". Why would you go for anything else? I mean, it's bright yellow and it's got a big engine and it's got tow hooks and hood pins and a front splitter that's too far off the ground to do anything. It's a bit over the top, but it's generally awesome.
Did feds delay public disclosure of Chevy Volt fire risk to protect GM sales?
I haven't seen $100,000 turn into $400 so fast since I invested in Saab.
Ford and Holden in Australia. That gets dangerous. People stab eachother.
F1 2010/2011 are pretty fun, though 2011 is a lot more difficult because the top teams all have KERS while you're stuck on the bottom without it.
If the 6 looks like that when it arrives, I'll buy you a sandwich.
Haha, that doesn't say much about today's comments
Don't charge, supercharge.
There are a lot of new cars coming up that I am very excited about - the Focus ST, the Scibeyota, the Abarth 500 - and every one could drop the ball if they get too ambitious with the pricing.
I get what you're saying. They're the same car, but the Toyota looks way sexier.
Does this mean we can stop hating Toyota now?
There was a tip here a few days ago in the Answers of the Day about buying rims. Get them from a third party, and keep the OEMs stored somewhere. Then when you sell the car (if you ever do) you've got fresh stock rims to put it on.
I think I get what you're saying. You wish there was a similar competition for non-students, and I agree. When I leave university, I want to keep racing and designing race cars. I just don't know if that's possible. Maybe check out local racing leagues and try to get involved with a team.
OSU had a great car in May. The concept of splitting the work with a school in Germany is very clever.
Go for it! You learn a lot about cars and the engineering design process.
