@Kyle Maher: I guess it depends how you get your water. If you're getting a big gallon jug or one of those massive 24 packs, it's cheap.
Gas is also cheaper than bottled water.
@Engineer - Think James May but not quite as witty, well paid, or British.: Yeah, I said in another comment that in one way or another, wide scale adoption of electric cars is going to cause headaches for the power companies and the grid.
@Commisar: If there's going to be a new plant, it ought to be nuclear, except everybody is terrified of that n-word.
They'll be driven by robots, and it will be our job to build and maintain those robots.
I'm pumped. Let's hope they do a good job.
There are many issues with electric cars, but I think one that hasn't received much attention is powering them.
