Dean was an avid Porsche fan, but he died in the 550, not a 356.

Nice print quality ... good to see Lotus hasn't lost their quality touch ;-)

Mischievous: Causing or showing a fondness for causing trouble in a playful way.

It's still an automatic, it has 2 pedals.

Sooo, the PIN is always one of:

Sure, and Hennessy assembles it for you. In between stealing other people's Viper parts.

So figuring you're moving across town, this tip might save you a grand total of about $10....I'm all about saving money, but I'd say most people would place higher value on not sitting in rush hour traffic, rather than a tiny savings in gas costs.

The cube of velocity is incorrect, as you will reduce your time in transit, putting one "speed" in the denominator and putting it back to square. There's also a fixed portion of economy and a linearly-proporational one, so it's fuel = V^2+nV+C - i.e. it will always be less than the square. But I digress.

Most cars are most efficient at 45-55 mph (at the lowest engine speed that can be sustained without lugging in the highest gear). So speeding on a 35 mph limit road will probably net you better mileage...

If one speeds wouldn't they have a lower chance of being stopped at a light? How can that be factored into your calculations?

i am a Turk and believe me, no Turkish person with the right mind supports Erdoğan. Turkey is seperated into 2 sides. it's either you're with him or against him. there is no one in between. and most of young and educated people are against him of course, he banned twitter and it was a huge shame, the whole world's

Well, presuming you're saving $.08 and you're electric bill is $100. That's .08%.. And if 40% of the population did this it equates to .032%. You'd actually be way better served by calling in to work 1 day a year. That equates to a .4% drop in the energy you used in commuting.

Also remember to balance power saving with convenience. As the article mentions, a PC in sleep mode can sip up to 15 watts. At the price I pay for electricity (about 10 cents/kWh) that costs me $13.14. In an entire year. So it's not worth worrying about, the added convenience of a quick wake up is well worth it. I

I have a power strip that I plug the majority of my stationary gear into—monitor, speakers, etc—and I flip the switch at night so they're all totally off. When I remember to.

BMW E65 7 Series. The dame edna brows, the butt and not to mention iDrive. I remember how people thought BMW was going to go bankrupt over this car. Yet it became the best selling 7 Series to that date.

"The smart financial move is to pay for your car in cash and avoid a loan altogether."

One thing I hate about these things is that it seriously overestimates your retirement expenses if you have kids. I have no idea what percentage of my income goes towards the kids, but its a lot.

When they stuck an Audi badge on a Bentley...

LOL. Can I suggest this as COTD?
Need to riff off it a little, though.

This one!
