I see more and more of these kind of articles. Most of them well thought out and reasoned, even if I think they're a bit late to see the writing on the wall. That said, the day Jesus Diaz writes one of these I'm leaving Android. :)

I randomly caught a few minutes of AFHV the other day. It took me a few moments to register what it was I was watching, simply because I thought the show had been cancelled years ago.
Then I suggest you start supporting politicians that defend instead of degrade the bill of rights.
Sure, 3D printers might get more affordable in time, and 3D models will improve. But there is and always will be a limit to the amount of punishment plastic can take. I don't think you'll ever have a 3D printed gun that can compete, economically of functionally, with one you can buy. That said, combining 3D printed…
Cheaper! Your kidding right? Do you have any idea how much the printers being used for these cost? Or the plastic it uses to print for that matter. Thousands upon thousands of dollars all so you can build a gun far inferior to one you could pick up at a sporting goods store for a couple of hundred bucks.
While your correct, the lethality of a 22 is minor compared to most other calibers, doesn't mean that it shouldn't be taken seriously. It can seriously injure and kill. Just not as effectively or quickly as other calibers, which in some cases makes it worse.
Ok. But let's also agree that the "have to" is subjective. There are many "have to" tweaks that many end users don't care about or wouldn't miss. Plus, there are many things a manufacturer simply can't know till it's in an end users hands. The best they can do there is make the settings and customization options…

Depends on the kind of consumer your end user is.
Simply not an issue.
Modern politics has taught me that this video is incorrect because they didn't factor in magazine size and "military style" of the slingshot into their analysis.
Agreed. You can build your own collapsible (granted, not to this extent) boat for a couple hundred bucks in materials. Now, would I expect to pay more for a better design and more durable materials plus profit for a finished product from the manufacturer? Sure I would. But not 10 times as much.
Problem with this ammo is it's a bit pricey and hard to come by here in the US. Add to that the current state of things where all ammo is pricey and hard to come by and it's a round I'd avoid despite it's excellent performance.
He specifically said "fire two blasts outside the house." Implying that would scare off an intruder. Perhaps we're being a bit too giving, assuming he's shoot up in the air instead of some random direction.
This is a symbolic gesture. The town has already come out and said that. Which also might explain why those chose a weapon incapable of reaching the intended target. No need to get worked up.
According to VP Biden there's nothing wrong with firing off a couple of 12 gauge rounds into the sky.
Val would be proud
Actually, I'd say this was a very creative and fun way for a small town with little to no direct impact on federal or even state policies to raise awareness about a federal policy they don't like. Bravo!
I've got my anti drone system right here. Works for geese too.
