The new Mustang GT350. They took a flat plane crankshaft V8 and tuned the exhaust so it still sounds almost like a standard cross plane crank engine. They also made it bigger than anyone has ever made a production flat plane V8, which probably helps the noise as well. I still question the reliability of a flat plane…

More likely it was due to the sales price they could achieve. The Fiesta is built to be cheap. Pure and simple. The Element took a cheap platform and made it expensive. They could afford based on the sales price to put more effort into it. The Fiesta is lucky to break even.

Watkins Glen being historic always pulls good numbers. But the thing that causes fans to not wanna go is the absolute lack of being able to see what’s going on for about 85% of the track.

F-150 is the only 2015 truck to be tested.
Encourage you to ask which 2015 trucks - beyond F-150 SuperCrew and soon SuperCab and Regular Cab - have similar small overalap countermeasures.
These aren’t the same test. The new one is much more brutal.
Why? The RS is aimed at the STi and the Golf R. My guess all along has been $36,000 base and $42,000 loaded. Just look at the market, the numbers are obvious. ;-)
