@Poodle_Heart: It lasted longer than most people think. Bought mine in the late 70's and it was still viable into the 90's. Which I guarantee you is longer than the Playstation MOVE will be viable :-)

I think there's a lot of nostalgic affection going on for the original Tron that simply wasn't there when the film debuted. I'm 47, old enough to have experienced the original in the theater during its initial release. And I can tell you that most people's reactions afterwards were...."meh"...but what people did love

@LogynxRunn: edit: via the Kotaku article...

@OMG! A SeaMonster!!!: You were just late. I ordered the RDR record via the Gizmodo article, and I'm staring at it in my living room. I ordered this controller, and it's on its way. Everyone who's bitching simply saw the articles too late.

@Nerubasasin19: This comes up every time a tech blog posts a wired controller. Microsoft will NOT license third party manufacturers to make wireless controllers.

@Lupus_Yonderboy: On the NOOK Color there's a regular brightness setting under "settings". But when you're in an actual ebook, there are format settings like Day/Night, Sepia, Butter, Cocoa, etc. The thing is you have to be in an ebook for those options. That could be why you couldn't find it while playing with one in

@Lupus_Yonderboy: Basically it was two things. The build quality of the Archos 101 had me a little concerned. It didn't seem as durable. Second, I'm not an Apple fanboy, but knowing that I was probably going to get a future version of the iPad, I didn't want to be cut off from the Apple app world. Given the ubiquitous

@Erik Miler: I disagree with what you wrote. I compared it to the iPad, not the iPod touch, lol. Plus, a touch is too small for what I'm showing potential clients on my NOOK color. Again, for me, it was the price point AND the versatility. I bought it mostly for reading, but the other things it does made it a good

@kaffenated: The Nook COLOR also supports Microsoft documents (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). That was the tipping point for me because I can use it in my business for consultations, showing off PowerPoint presentations and PDF's. I couldn't do that with an iPad, and for only $250, it was win-win for me. I've had mine for

This is a good sign, if true. I seriously haven't cared about any of the characters or their predicament. What happened at the end of episode 5 should've happened in episode 2. Every episode after the premiere seemed like a placeholder until the writers could figure out what direction they wanted to go in. ((((YAWN))))

@mrgibblechip: Um, I've had Chrome since it was first launched and it's always done this. Sooooo...I'm not really sure why yours doesn't or you just never realized it...or you were being sarcastic.

@DrForbidden: Next topic: Is Deckard a replicant? :-)

@DrForbidden: My point in linking Devin Faraci's column was an attempt to be brief, and not to have to respond to every nitpick. Simply read the column. Also apropos is my opening response: What I see is person after person coming up with their own interpretrations for each inconsistency.

@Pope John Peeps II: "How do we know? Because his pursuers are slowed up in exactly the same way."

Sorry, folks, but ALL of Inception is a dream. Those who disagree and argue that it's not fail to address several key revelations that make it apparent. For brevity, I'll only mention one: The chase in Mombasa.

Star Wars: The Force Unleashed. Without a doubt, the glitchiest game ever made.

@Gustavo Gonzalez: If you check out articles in magazines like Game Informer, etc., you'll discover that the goal is for ALL multi-player to be subscription-based on consoles and pc's. The industry knows that the first company to do so is going to take a major hit to their image, but as games get more expensive to

@Sloopydrew: Yes, you can. I just finished doing it. My old one red-ringed last week. Sent it off to MS, so I still have just the hard drive. I bought the transfer cable, and transfered my data to the new one. Sealed the cable back into its original box and just returned it for a full refund.
