“We made a lot* of people laugh**”

She has weird vaccine beliefs so it still works don't worry.

Tipping is a notoriously inconsistent and discriminatory system in practice, and I’m not surprised that the people who make the most in tips don’t want it to go away at the expense of the people who make the least.

“...and later proved it.”

“We made a lot of people laugh during COVID in ways that at first seemed impossible...”

We made a lot of people laugh

At least one good thing has come out of the strike.

Bialik has also reportedly stated, “I’d Give Up My First Child’s Complete Vaccination Schedule to Host Jeopardy! Forever.”

Monday’s protest was in response to new legislation which will increase the state of New York’s minimum wage to $17 per hour, indexing to inflation for future increases, per Politico. The sexism and casual cruelty in so many of these comments is telling. Way to go, Hollywood-loving AVClubbers/haters. I think you all are proving a point.

An out of control and irredeemably corrupt police force.

Sweet...upon reading the headline, my pre-coffee brain said to me “freezer?”

I don’t want to hear a fucking thing from white allies. I want to SEE them smacking the shit out of people like burnbaby73, their friends, their family members, any and all others that are clearly blind as fuck and spout racist, ignorant bullshit, whataboutism, or are trying to tune out.

Jodie Comer was so great in that final scene on the train. Normally I watch Villanelle with such massive aesthetic distance because she’s such a piece of highly stylized art with no verisimilitude, so while I get that she’s brutal, it’s an engaging brutality that makes me feel something like art appreciation. But that

I just knew it wasn’t a question of whether she’d murder them, just a question of how many.

So, the prize for throwing shit was a fan...

This episode is the most I have ever liked Villanelle. I loved her doing right by her brothers at the end

Man, I could almost believe Tatiana’s story: that Villanelle was such a clear psychopath, even as a child, that Tatiana was forced to abandon her in an orphanage to better protect the other family members. It makes sense given who Villanelle is, and of course a mother would cry herself to sleep wondering if she did

Since pretty much none of these things have a chance in hell of being proposed by an airline, let alone implemented, I’ll toss something out that COVID-19 provides political cover to do: have Congress properly tax the airlines.
