Can’t believe the most beautiful pkace in the ‘burgh wasn’t mentioned: Phipps Conservatory (near U of Pitt). Got me through many a winter.

Ricotta is WAY cheaper to make here in New Zealand - 2 cups worth will set you back $9 ($7 on sale) at the store.

I’ve been out of the US for about 12 years now, but...what? People there still use checks?!?!

My thoughts exactly. Noticed NZ isn’t on the list, even though some places will lower themselves to making crap coffee for a tourist.

My husband is a gamer, but I am (was?) not. For computer gaming, he got me hooked on Snood. Then I “graduated” to the PS3/PS4 with Little Big Planet, then Disney Infinity and the Lego games. All are fun without being too intense or difficult.

My husband and I follow what I learned from my older brothers’ relationships: we live off the salary of the highest earner, and save the other’s salary. This was helpful when I was the higher earner and my husband was in the movie industry (which can be fickle). Now I am starting a new career, amd he is in the

Awesome - women helping each other!

Another one who disagrees here. My technology is a bit newer - an ipod conmected to the alarm - but I’ve been waking up to music for the past several years now. I guess the trick is rotating the songs?

Can we stop using the phrase “believe in” when it comes to science? It isn’t a religion. Instead, we should say that the current administration doesn’t “understand” climate science.

Same - we also tend to wait until after xmas and hit the boxing day/new year’s sales.

How about the US geows up and stops all this tipping shit? The rest of the world has figured it out - surely the US can move away from the out-dated and racist/classist system.

Time to get your ears checked, son.

Because she won? By a whole fuckload of votes?

I use this strategy even when searching prices just for two of us - I always price one ticket first, then check to see if two tickets is more than double that price.

Here’s how I do it:

Nope. They published a sex tape recorded surreptiously and illegally. It was wholly unecessary. I’m not wrong, so it wouldn’t matter if you attempted to claim that anyway.

They committed a wrong and paid the price. Thiel just funded the very just lawsuit. Gawker was the party in the wrong from the very beginning.

Exactly right. Tired of them playing the victim, when they published a man’s ill-gotten and secret sex tape. It wasn’t news/journalism, and they paid the correct price for committing such a stupid mistake.

Hot yoga can actually be quite harmful, as the heat allows some people to stretch further than they should, leading to injuries.
