This car is too uncanny valley for me. It almost looks like something... that I can’t recall. It’s almost good looking but almost weird looking too. In pictures it doesn’t look like a real vehicle. More like a grey market knockoff.

Current Hertz employee here. Contrary to popular belief these are probably the best taken care of used rentals you can buy. Unless something went really wrong at some point, these aren’t getting into the hands of the weekend traveler who reserved a Yaris, they’re being rented by people who actually are willing to fork…

Yep,. 24k on a 650 hp rental sounds like 240k on a normal car to me.

I’ll admit I think it’s kind of cool. If I were in the checkout line at the grocery store and saw it, I’d be tempted to impulse buy it for a buck.

$54,500? I know somebody paid a ton more, but I saw the original Bullitt Mustang in Florida last January, and I wouldn’t even consider paying that much for it. Definite crack pipe, but I don’t see where to vote.
