Agreed. I could give a shit about the LDR controversy ("She's famous because her dad's rich" "She's a no-talent pretty girl" etc) since I think she has a pleasant voice and an interesting image. Overall, song played well and I'll be listening to it again.

Didn't Diane Kruger and Josh Jackson get married? I could have sworn I shed a few tears over this loss previously (as we're married in my head.. he just hasn't told the press yet).

I had durian a few times when I lived in the Philippines.. I would go so far as to say that it is not just an acquired taste, but straight up difficult for most Westerners to enjoy it. Something with the texture, too.. a little too mushy for me to enjoy. Overall, super happy that I tried it - I can now gloat about all

No shame AT ALL. In fact, lets have a quick drink clink for knowing all the tv shows included. I'm actually a little proud of myself.

My brother is in a care home and we've found the best method for ensuring his care is to stay involved, do random pop-in visits on the workers, and don't hesitate to contact supervisors at the possibility of a problem. If you notice something, do something.

@annammcc RPCV Philippines here.. we actually had to have pills mailed to us from PC Headquarters in the capital. Interesting how policies differ between countries. Anyways, just saying "hay!" I think you may know a friend of mine who left Ukraine recently.. Jess S. Such a small world!

I need more information. Basic bread recipe like the tutorial Jenna posted the other day? Something more extravagant? Time in slow cooker? C'mon, I know you got the secrets in there...

I was 25 when I signed up for Match, and my now boyfriend was 24 at the time. We weren't the youngest people on there, but there seemed to be many more older men on than are on OkCupid in my area. It seems to really depend on the city/website for older vs. younger members.

Case workers who work for state agencies are required to go through training. In Michigan, it's 9 weeks of a mixture of classroom and workplace training.

I loved mine so much that when it started falling apart, I used the old one as a sewing template and made my own with an old towel. BEST SEWING PROJECT EVER. Super easy. Just remember to make the elastic loop long enough to stuff the end of the towel in to. This would help out the folks with long hair.. just make a

Gawker romance! Love it..

It depends on what state and at what age you enter care. In Michigan, you qualify for full scholarships if you enter care after age 14 but only partial if before and are adopted before. It's a sticky/tricky situation and everywhere is different.. not to mention if you enter care in one state and are adopted in

While I would typically agree with you, the homes that kids in foster care kids COME from are SO much worse than (hopefully) where they are adopted in to. It sounds like these parents truly love their kids, and that is really what every child deserves. Yes, they may not get that individualized attention every child

I'm late to the party, but yes, I teared up as well. Damn them.

I'll go ahead and add my two cents of, yes, I also have HPV, had those damn abnormal cells, and had a LEEP procedure about 4 months ago and will be going back for my follow up soon. I'm, personally, at the point in my life where I've dealt with my anger (at the guy, at myself, at life in general) and I want to move

@wonderwoahman: I get a pimple inside my ear here and there. Those are awful.

@vicky55: I have never met a single person who has enjoyed every single day of their life in America, either. I'm a RPCV and no, I didn't love every day as a volunteer, but I value every second I spent overseas and it has completely shaped me as a human being. I wouldn't change anything I went through, good or bad,

@skmccann: Pretty sure it was one of those pitch pipes.. if that's what they're called.

I have a non-verbal brother with cerebral palsy and growing up it was like Christmas when it was time for a new wheelchair for him. Yes, yes.. mom and dad picked the important things like tilting capabilities and wheel tread, but the glory of color and texture choices was always given to me. Thus, my brother ended up
