I didn’t watch the show in Spanish so I don’t know their individual names but the show name was translated as “Los Tres Chiflados”.

Looks like she is from Sinaloa, I wasn’t sure if that slang was used in the south of Mexico because I know the north.

It’s just slang for that area of the country. The correct term is something like rizos or rulos but there, it is “chinos”.

“Chinos” means “curls”, ergo, someone with lots of curls is called “China”.
