This sounds like a great project, I hope he gets the needed funding. I do wish rally was more popular here it is such a great form of racing.

Too many friends hurt in turbo Japanese cars. 300ZX and Mitsubishi Eclipse. Anything with over 200 hp for a teenager is just asking to get wrapped around a tree, light pole or God forbid, another car. Cheap, heavy, slow sedan is the way to go.
You are not alone. I thought that explanation was a little strange. I hope I'm not missing something.
So if pull up to a hotel full of Hondas and Toyotas I should find another place to get some sleep?
Update: Track system is $9,000.
$16,000 is a lot of money for 10 year old WRX and with 200,000 NADA has it at about $7,300 clean retail. The tracks are pretty cool, I have an email into the company to see how much they are. I'm going to have to go with CP. But looks like fun.
I have loved cars since I was a small child. I love to go and learn new things about them whenever I get a chance. I know how to do a few limited services. I thought I knew quite a lot. I was wrong. I love reading through the comments on this one. Great idea! Someone who knows little or nothing about your car…
Hopfully the employees were not injured too severly. More bad press for GM, not the best place to have an explosion at this point and time.
Is it really necessary to put a start stop function on a 5500 lb V8 refrigerator?
I have to say this is a pretty cool sleeper car. If I saw that on the road I would think it would have a hard time getting out of it's own way. For a 17 year old car to have more power than a brand new V6 Mazda 6 is impressive.
You know what would really suck?
If it was not for that dragon I think it would look pretty good.
Everything needs a flamethrower.
One thing you learn by selling cars is not to judge what people can afford but how they look or what they pull up to the dealership in.
I do agree that if the teams were to boycott the race that would show that F1 truly does consider more than money. However, I do not see this happening for the reasons some have pointed out that, they would be fined substantially. That being said, there are many ways that the teams could express their views…
Steal.
I am looking forward to more photos. Very excited.
It just seems like BMW is trying to fill a tiny segment hole in their line-up. They are trying to cater to a certain customer instead of creating an "Ultimate Driving Machine." Just my opinion.
I agree, it's a pretty good looking car. I see a little Audi in the rear end and the front end of the car looks quite aggressive. Although it is quite a heavy girl, 308hp is a pretty good punch.
One can only hope. I think that would look spectacular.
