It is rumored that the girl in red is Yda without her mask and she’s a Monk. The main class of the Warrior of Light (aka the character you are in the FFXIV universe) will be changing to Monk, like he changed from Warrior to Dragoon in Heavensward.

Whoever that woman in red is (I have a hunch), that’s a monk. Note the flying kick to the male MNK after she performs some forms followed by a martial arts sequence.
